1 tsp cinnamon

1 tbsp coconut oil or butter (optional)

Instructions
Cook the Apples

In a saucepan over medium heat, add apples and water.

Cook 5–7 minutes, stirring, until apples soften and release juices.
Add Oats & Flavor

Stir in oats, milk, cinnamon, vanilla, salt, nutmeg, and coconut oil if using.

Reduce heat to medium-low.
Simmer

Cook 10–12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until oats are creamy and apples are tender.
Finish

Stir in raisins, nuts, or seeds if using.

Remove from heat and let sit 2 minutes to thicken.
Serve

Spoon into bowls.
